About Rev. Handy

Stephen Handy is lead pastor of McKendree United Methodist Church in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. He also serves as associate district superintendent of the Urban Cohort District in the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference of The United Methodist Church. In 2023, he co-authored Dare to Shift: Challenging Leaders to a New Way of Thinking with Dr. Michael Bowie. Stephen, his wife Shelley and their three children live in the Greater Nashville area.
