Bruce Baxter is currently the district superintendent of the Southeast District of the Missouri Annual Conference. He supervises 80 churches with 60 pastors. Bruce has been under appointment in the Missouri Conferences for 35 years. He has served 6 previous appointments including the planting of SunRise in St. Charles county, and being the executive pastor of La Croix UMC in Cape Girardeau. He has a B.S. from UMSL in Business Administration, an M.Div from Asbury Seminary, a Th.M. from Covenant Seminary and a Ph.D. from St. Louis University. Before becoming a pastor, Bruce was a CPA in St. Louis.
