BIPOC Lounge Open Events

The Missouri Annual Conference Sessions team continues to grow in our efforts to make our annual conference a more inclusive space so that we can become a Church for all God’s people. Last year, we had success with a new idea, the creation of a BIPOC Lounge.

The BIPOC Lounge is a dedicated space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to gather and find community. The Lounge will be in Room 104 during Conference hours.

New this year, the BIPOC Lounge is excited to feature some programming that will be open to everyone - whether or not you identify as BIPOC. These events are indicated in the schedule below.

FRIDAY

11:30-11:45 a.m. Inclusive Wellness Initiative for BIPOC congregations presentation
8 p.m. - Get Your Praise On (Karaoke/Line Dancing and Open-Mic) - Part I - Open to all

SATURDAY

8:30 a.m. - Praise and Worship - Open to all
8:30 p.m. - Get Your Praise On - Part II - Open to all
